Returns Policy

1. Your Right to Cancel

If you purchase from drewbas-tonewood.com as a consumer, you may withdraw from the sales contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. This period starts when you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

If goods from a single order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts when you receive the last item, batch or part.

This right also applies to an individual purchasing in connection with their business where the purchase is not of a professional nature for that individual within the meaning of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.

2. How to Request a Return

To withdraw from the contract, send us a clear statement of your decision:

• By email to info@drewbas-tonewood.com, or

• By post to Konrad Pater “DREWBAS TONEWOOD”, Strachocin 1, 57-550 Stronie Śląskie, Poland.

Please include your name, order number and the items you wish to return to help us identify your purchase. You may use the withdrawal form below, but this is optional.

To meet the deadline, send your withdrawal statement before the 14-day period expires. Prior approval from the store is not required.

3. Returning the Goods

Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to withdraw. You meet this deadline if you dispatch the goods before the period expires.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. For international returns, this includes the cost of shipping the goods back to Poland.

Pack the wood securely to protect it from moisture, physical damage and movement during transit. We recommend retaining proof of dispatch. Original packaging is not required.

4. Condition of Returned Wood

You may inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Cutting, planing, sanding, drilling, gluing, varnishing or otherwise processing the wood may go beyond necessary inspection and reduce its value. Damage caused by improper storage may also reduce its value.

You are responsible for any actual reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods. Processing the goods does not automatically remove your right to withdraw from the contract.

5. Refunds

We will refund payments received without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal statement.

When you return the entire order, we will also refund the original delivery cost up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered at the time of purchase. Any additional amount paid for a more expensive delivery option will not be refunded.

We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first, unless we have offered to collect the goods ourselves.

We will use the same payment method you used for the purchase unless you expressly agree to another method that does not result in additional fees for you.

6. Custom-Made Wood

The right to withdraw without giving a reason does not apply to non-prefabricated goods made to the buyer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

This may include wood prepared to specially agreed dimensions or an individual design, provided the order meets the statutory conditions for this exception.

Selecting a particular piece of wood from the store’s available inventory does not, by itself, exclude your right to return it. The custom-made goods exception does not affect your rights regarding faulty or non-conforming goods.

7. Faulty or Non-Conforming Goods

Returning goods without giving a reason and making a complaint about faulty or non-conforming goods are separate procedures.

If your goods arrive damaged or do not conform to the contract, contact us at info@drewbas-tonewood.com. Describe the issue, state the remedy you are requesting and provide information identifying your purchase. Photographs can help us assess the issue, but they are not a condition for submitting a complaint.

The rules requiring buyers to pay for ordinary return shipping do not apply to costs that the seller must bear by law when handling a valid complaint.

8. Other Purchases

For business purchases that do not qualify for consumer protection, returns of goods that conform to the contract must be agreed individually with the store.

This policy does not limit any rights granted to buyers under applicable mandatory law.
